Yesterday I received my copy of Apple’s iWork ’09. As you might know I switched from Windows XP to an Apple iMac last June and I’m still happy with this decision. Since the last months I used OpenOffice.org 3.0 on the Mac and it’s a little bit frustrating. The free office application is really feature rich but almost unusable on the Mac because it’s so incredibly slow – even with 4 GB’s of memory. Now I got iWork ’09 and it’s much faster and really nice. It has less features than OOo but what you get is cool and fits for most of my office work. But I will use both in the future.
