Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Well, things slowed down the last months with phpMyFAQ and I’ll try to push it more after the holidays. I’ll try to release a 2.0.5 release this year but I cannot guarantee that I’ll have enough time the next 2 weeks. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2008. And, rest in peace, PHP 4!

In the evening, Marcus, Derick, Sebastian, Ilia and myself drove to the Vista Point to take some pictures of the Golden Gate bridge again. The bridge was partly in fog and I could take some awesome pictures of it. I’ll post one the next days. Today I’ll do my talk about IBM DB2 and PHP 5.2.

Arrival in San Francisco

Saturday, October 6th, 2007

This morning I left Munich and flew with a terrible stopover in London Heathrow to San Francisco. At the International San Francisco Airport I saw one of the brand new Airbus A380 planes. I was sitting in a Boeing 747-400 but it looked really smaller than the A380. It’s also really hard to enter the United States. They took two fingerprints and a picture of me – I felt like a criminal. The weather is quite good but it’s quite cold.
